Flossing Your Teeth, Made Simple (video)

Flossing your teeth every day is an important oral hygiene habit. Many areas of your teeth can’t be reached by brushing alone. And it’s important to remove food and other debris from in between teeth and other places where it’s easy for bacteria-collecting plaque to form.

You may avoid flossing just because it seems awkward. And it is, at first. It takes a while to get the hang of it. Learning the proper technique, then practicing it, is the key to making flossing a daily habit.

Watch this video from the American Dental Association for tips. You can also ask our Reading, MA dentists and hygienists to show you the proper flossing technique during your dental exam. Call 781-435-7290 to book your next appointment.
