Crooked, misaligned teeth not only look unsightly but can cause oral health issues because they’re harder to clean. If you’re ready to give up the battle with your teeth and find a straightening solution that can work for you, we’re here to help.

At First Dental Associates, Dr. Nasrin Sadeghi is a Certified Preferred Invisalign provider and a part of the Academy of Orthodontics. You can rest assured you’re in good hands with a dentist who has had the experience and training necessary to provide you with quality teeth straightening treatment.

But why should you choose Invisalign instead of traditional metal braces?

Benefits Of Straightening Your Teeth With Invisalign

Appearance

Perhaps the most obvious benefit of using Invisalign instead of traditional metal braces is their appearance. Unlike chunky metal braces that are obvious to everyone, clear Invisalign braces are hardly noticeable. In fact, it will be hard to tell you’re wearing braces at all.

Hygiene

Another benefit to using Invisalign is the ability to remove them. The aligners are removed when you eat, which means you don’t have to worry about food getting stuck in your braces. You also remove them when brushing and flossing your teeth, which makes it easier to keep your teeth and gums clean. Wouldn’t you much rather brush and floss your teeth like normal instead of having to work around brackets and wires?

Safety

Traditional metal braces fill your mouth with wire and pieces of metal that can potentially damage the inside of your mouth. Clear braces are much more comfortable, without any sharp metal pieces.

If you participate in sports or regular physical activity, that’s yet another reason to choose Invisalign over traditional metal braces. You wouldn’t want to accidentally get hit in the mouth with metal braces on your teeth, would you?

Treatment Time

Have you known someone with metal braces and wondered why it seemed like they wore them for years? Probably because they did! Metal braces might have to be worn for as long as five years, whereas Invisalign braces can straighten your teeth in as little as nine months or up to 15 months. You will use a set of 18-30 aligners, depending on your individual case.

We also offer Invisalign Express 10 which can be used to straighten your teeth in just 3-6 months using a maximum of 10 aligners. During your consultation with us, we can get a better idea of which treatment option may work better for you.

Fewer Appointments

If you have a busy schedule, it can be hard to make it to the dentist every couple weeks for your braces to be adjusted. With Invisalign, you only have to visit our office about every six weeks for a checkup. Your teeth are gradually moved into position using aligners that you switch out yourself every couple of weeks. When you come to see us, we’ll check to make sure everything is working smoothly and your teeth are repositioning themselves properly.

Great For All Ages

Braces aren’t just for kids anymore. As an adult, and especially if you have a high visibility career, you likely don’t want to sport a mouth full of metal. But you also want a straight, professional-looking smile. That’s exactly why we love Invisalign!
